Updates? Err... Sorry but there are none really ^^;
However, I am working on yet another (and hopefully the final) blog layout. Then I can get to work on studying for my exams that I know I'm going to fail -.- and then when I'm done failing I can get my ass working on the actual site - HOO HAH!
If you remember our original website, you would've seen that it sucked. I'm hoping that this endeavour of ours will be slightly more aesthetically pleasing ya know? Hopefully. Website design will probably fall back on me, and just looking at my layouts you can tell that I'm not the most creative person in the world (actually I'm the 2nd most creative person in the world) and disregard the comments in the brackets...
We'll get started soon enough... And when we do, be prepared for a random feast like you've never had before! Game reviews? Pics? Movies? My custom software? Audio? The team's artwork? Something else? WHO KNOWS?! :o
We are still looking for someone to provide (or point us in the direction of) free webspace. If you have access to some webspace you're not using, feel free to let us know, and you can be part of a team without having to do anything :o awesome huh? Ya dam right ^^

Yes yes, we almost had a new member on the COP-S team, but, unfortunately she didn't think of what she could do to help us. I mean, offering help is all well and good, but not being able to do anything... I duno...
Oh well, at least she tried, goo Y-mac!
Maybe Y-mac could be a critic or something, seeing as we're getting no feedback from anyone else.

Ok then, now I've got that sorted... Although I'd like some feedback ^^ what does everyone think of the new layout dealy! It sucks? Yeah probably... But you never know! Someone might think it's good o_o

Custom Template!
... Ok so we don't have one - YET! But hey, as a would-be programmer, I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to pull one together ^^; yeah hopefully it won't be hard.
So yes, I'll start on that some time soon, or maybe not, we'll see. It's not like I'm spending my time studying for exams, when I really should be, even though it doesn't matter if I do or don't. Are you confused? Sure you are. But it doesn't matter, trust me, I'm screwed whether I study or not.
But enough about my life, I wanna get this dealy going so I won't spend 3 months sitting idle before we go back to school in March. And it'd be good to just configure everything now, so that all we have to do later on is update the content. But a Blogger template is one thing, building a site is another. Are we going to go with PHP? ASP? Java? Regular ol' HTML? I'm thinking something along the lines of HTML with various Java dealies. Don't you love how I'm so... Technical? Of course you do.
Soon I'm'a have to scour the net for various HTML resources, hoorah! I have a feeling this is all going to work out, seeing as we're going to be bored for 3 months, why not build a site?

It's not finalised, but we now have another 2 members to add to the C.O.P. Studioz Team roster. So, with no further delay, allow me to introduce...
:: Ming ::
His nick will be subject to change ^^. But he has been the script writer for our movie and he is also the arty dude. His skills with digital art are questionable, but we'll be going to him for creative direction when it comes to the site and our various projects. Good stuff.
:: Dried_Beef ::
Our resident Flash guy. Essentially he works among a few Flash programs, including Macromedia Flash, Swish, and Flax. What he'll be making animations for exactly has yet to be determined. But you know, we'll figure this out as we go.
So yes, 2 more members get added to the team. We can look at development beginning in 4 or so weeks, until then, you have to be patient.
OH! Soon I'll try working on my own template for this blog... I make no guarantees...

Ok all members have yet to be accounted for, but here are a few of 'em ^^.

I carry a little bit of responsibility for everything. From slapping together some crappy HTML pages to creating custom/edited graphics as well as whipping up Flash animations, and so on. Until our members start blogging, I will be responsible for posting updates. And I'm solely responsible for getting our content onto the web and making sure it all goes together nicely ^^.

Our designated camera man. HA! At least when we make our amateur movie (no not porn!). Although... He might not be behind the camera all the time, oh well, he owns the camera. He's also one of our Flash guys. Albeit he'll actually be using Swish, but still! From what I've seen, he can slap together a FlashSite in a short time, which is quite good. What else? Ahh, all our members will have creative input. ^^.
Will this project work out? Will it crumble? Will we get bored and start doing something else? Only time will tell... But hopefully we'll have a crack at this before anything else ^^

Current Status :: It has begun
... Ok so it hasn't begun - YET.
The guys and myself have a ways to go before we can really get working on the site. I can't speak for everyone working on this, but I am free at exactly 11:40AM on the 18/11/2004, seeing as that's when my last exam ends. So I'd be at home around 12:40PM... But this is irrielevant and off-topic.
I've noticed that both the blog and the site have gotten a few hits (:o), and to all you people who have been checking this out - we will start work some time in November/December (hopefully). Although, if you're interested in helping build a little site about nothing in particular feel free to email me, or leave a comment with your contact details. I'm especially looking for someone who can do a decent job of making a custom template, for you see, that is something we sorely need.
You can expect a list of Team Members soon... Yeah, just as soon as I can accurately describe each member's... Job... As well as getting their preferred screen name.
As for me, well, you can all me Rufi. I'd call myself the leader of this motley crew know as the C.O.P. Studioz Team but the truth is, we have no leader. I'm currently responsible for getting all our content onto the site, updating this blog with updates and whatnot, and I don't know what else really. Maybe some image editing, Flash dealies, I don't know.
My -- as well as other team member's -- roles will be evaluated soon enough, so YOU the faithful reader/viewer/whatever will know who is who, and what who is doing, as well as who else will be helping who it is that does what they do in what they're doing. Confused? I know I am.

More problems!

Blogger can't connect to my own FTP. This is probably my fault for not being able to set up the server correctly but... Aww I duno. Setting up a blog dealy on FTP is hard ><
First Web1000 wouldn't allow it, then my dealy can't connect ffs. FFS! I need... A Webmaster/mistress to host this dealy. That would be the easiest way by far. Oh well, I guess that, for now, COP Studioz has to roll with the punches. That is to say, that we should let this blog be hosted on BlogSpot until I can figure out a way to get it onto our site. And if you know me, then you know that I will figure it out. Eventually. ^^;

Technical Difficulties!
Har har... Har...
Aww dammit. Essentially the web1000 FTP won't let blogger publish to it, so now I'm using my own personal FTP. *growls*
But yes, I'll transfer everything over to the web1000 dealy manually. Alternatively I could host the site on my own webserver, but my upload sucks. It peaks at 13.??kb/s which is admittedly crap, but I hope to either get a better net connection when I get a job or something, or... Well ok I have no other options. Unless I can find some really generous person who is willing to give us unlimited (Also found out that web1000 only gives me 50mb of webspace - oh ffs...) webspace (or something big you know, few hundred MB), FTP access (customisable access, in the event that blogger doesn't like the FTP), and a decent speed for the webserver. That would rock! OR maybe me and the guys could set up webservers on all our machines, and then act as mirrors :o although, that wouldn't work... They're always downloading/uploading/browsing so it would constrain their personal bandwidth. *sigh*
Hopefully I'll be able to get this blog on the site ^^ even if it has to be done manually ¬¬ *growls at blogger*
Oh well, hopefully things will be ok soon. Rufi is gone!
PS :: I could always set up a dealy when I'm living in Canada with a 1337 net connection :o

C.O.P. Studioz is born...
... Again?
Yes. COPS is back! Sure we used to be a subsidiary of the LAGA but now we're on our own! HAH! ^^;;
Consequently, I am also the person who founded LAGA, as well as COPS, but due to everyone getting bogged down with TAFE and University, it didn't last long. In a few weeks we'll be on Summer break ^^ and we'll start this all over again. HOO HAH! KARATE CHOP! Uhh... Yes...
At the moment we have only established our space on the web (we've got webspace? yes.), and our team members (I use that term LOOSELY) have yet to get back into things. But I'm in the process of setting up a rally point (my own FTP so they can send me all their dealies when completed), and I've also done the 'Under Construction' page for the site (lame I know, but leave me alone, I'm a programmer not a PhotoShop'er).
Expect all updates to be posted here, and don't expect a good blog layout because, unfortunately, I have no friggin' idea on how to make on. No wait, scratch that. I have no idea how to make a GOOD one.
